Begin with daytime sightseeing and nature walks, then unwind at a traditional ryokan with hot spring baths and kaiseki dinner. Wake to sunrise views of Fuji and explore the region further before returning—refreshed and inspired.

Itinerary

  • Take an express bus or train to Kawaguchiko (about 2–2.5 hours).

🗓️ Day 1 – Cultural Discovery & Lake Views
Depart Tokyo Early Morning

  • Climb to the Chureito Pagoda for one of Japan’s most iconic Mt. Fuji views. Ideal in any season — especially during cherry blossoms or autumn leaves.

Arakurayama Sengen Park (1 hour)

  • Lake Kawaguchi (take a lakeside stroll or boat ride)

  • Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway for views from above

  • Kubota Itchiku Art Museum (kimono art in a serene setting)

Kawaguchiko Sightseeing (2–3 hours)

  • Try hōtō noodles — a regional specialty perfect for a satisfying mountain meal.

Local Lunch (1 hour)

  • Check into a traditional ryokan with a private or shared hot spring bath and views of Mt. Fuji. Enjoy a kaiseki-style dinner and relax in a yukata.

Onsen Ryokan Stay
